Hawaii | Haleakalā: Sunset above the clouds

Ten days in Hawaii was a great experience – the nature, the diversity, the beaches, … The days we camped were definitely the best – I’d recommend camping to anyone that goes 🙂 I hadn’t even thought of camping there until a friend suggested it.

Haleakalā is the tallest volcano and highest point on Maui, reaching 3055m. It’s a popular place for watching the sun rise and set. Understandably so! The range of colours and tones of the sky was impressive, and being above the clouds only added to the ‘wow’ factor. Here are 4 unprocessed (only slightly straightened) pictures of one of the sunsets we saw.
